Boutique rental The Parker 118 makes downtown Rutherford debut
Leasing is underway for The Parker’s second residential building, a mixed-use property offering luxury living in Downtown Rutherford.
Vango Development was joined by Mayor Frank Nunziato and other municipal officials earlier this month to celebrate the debut of the 60 apartments and 3,000 square feet of retail space with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the company announced June 12.
Located at 118 Park Ave., the property is just two blocks from the city’s train station, which is also a bus stop for the NJ Transit No. 190 bus to the Port Authority. Rutherford offers motorists easy access to Route 3 and Route 17.
According to Vango, The Salad House and a high-end salon are set as commercial tenants at the property.
During the celebration, Nunziato said the project’s completion was an excellent addition to downtown. “I’d like to thank everyone who worked on this project to make it a great fit for Rutherford and look forward to the future as its residents become patrons of our local businesses,” he said.
Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, The Parker 118’s interior amenities are by The Childs Dreyfus Group.
The Parker 118 expands upon a 52-unit sister building, located at 106 Park Ave., that debuted in 2019. With 5,000 square feet of retail space, The Parker 106 is home to Steven’s Café and Song’E Napule, a popular pizzeria and trattoria that last month became the first Rutherford business to obtain a liquor license since the late 1800s.

The success of the initial phase of The Parker showcases its appeal, and we are delighted to expand the overall lifestyle with new apartments and amenities.”
Immediate occupancy is available for The Parker 118‘s studios, one- and two-bedroom units, which currently begin at $2,370.
